New User Checklist

Use this checklist to get set up and start making the most of BreedLOGIC Database Search.

[TIP] User Guides and short training videos are available for all major BreedLOGIC features. Access them through the Support & Resources area.

GETTING STARTED

Account Setup

  • Create your free BreedLOGIC account.
  • Sign in to BreedLOGIC Database Search.
  • Review your Profile and Account Settings.
  • Enable AI Search (optional).

Connect Your Accounts

  • Configure My Herd settings.
  • Link your Internet Solutions and/or ILROnline accounts (if applicable).

Explore the Platform

  • Familiarise yourself with the navigation tabs available for your breed society.
  • Switch between List View and Card View.
  • Explore the Sort and Display Options menu.
  • Adjust displayed columns and toggle EBVs, Accuracy and Percentiles (where available).

SEARCH AND ENQUIRY

Learn the Search Options

  • Use Quick Search to locate a record.
  • Run a Basic Search, using both the Animal Details and Genetic Evaluation tabs.
  • Test Percentile searching (where available).
  • Create a search using Advanced Search filters.
  • Try AI-Assisted Search using a natural language query.

Explore Animal Information

  • Locate an animal of interest.
  • Review an Animal Enquiry record, including pedigree and genetic evaluation information.

Explore Member Information

  • Search for a breeder or member.
  • Review a Member Enquiry record.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Sales

  • Browse available Sales and Sale Lots.
  • Open a sale lot and review the associated animal information.

Mating Predictor

  • Open the Mating Predictor tool (if available).
  • Select a sire and dam combination.
  • Review the predicted mating results.

Learn More

  • Review the available BreedLOGIC User Guides and training videos.
  • Browse the Frequently Asked Questions.

Get Support

  • Locate the Support & Resources button.
  • Learn how to report a technical issue or suggest a new feature.
