Using Sales

The Sales area within BreedLOGIC Database Search provides access to all available sale listings, including Sales, Private Treaty listings, Semen sales, and Embryo sales.
To the left of the Quick Search bar are two drop-down filters. The first allows users to select the sale type they wish to view, while the second allows users to choose between Current sales (the default setting) and All sales, which includes historical listings. The Quick Search bar can be used to search for a sale by name or description.
Sales can be viewed in either List View or Card View, allowing users to choose the display format that best suits their needs.
OPEN A SALE
Once a list of sales is displayed, users can open an individual sale by clicking on the sale name or description.
Opening a sale displays the sale catalogue and provides access to BreedLOGIC's Database Search sort and display tools. These tools allow users to filter the catalogue using a wide range of criteria, including genetic evaluation information where available.
For example, users may search for animals meeting specific EBV and/or Selection Index requirements. The Sort and Display Options menu can also be used to customise the catalogue display, including showing or hiding genetic evaluation information and managing visible columns.
VIEWING INDIVIDUAL SALE LOTS
Selecting a sale lot opens the individual lot page. This page closely mirrors the Animal Enquiry individual animal page, providing a familiar experience for users.
The top of the page displays key animal identification and registration details. Additional information is organised across five tabs: EBVs, Pedigree, Progeny, Sales, and Media.
This allows users to access the same detailed animal information available through Animal Enquiry while remaining within the sale catalogue.
NAVIGATING BETWEEN LOTS
When viewing an individual lot, the Previous Lot and Next Lot arrows located in the top-right corner of the screen can be used to move through the sale catalogue without returning to the main sale listing. This allows users to efficiently review animals one lot at a time.
